Feeling Good.

Feeling happy, being happy is one of the most sought-after wants. We all want to feel good, most of the time.

Here’s the thing: it’s not possible.

To move from a place of not feeling good to feeling good, you need to make yourself uncomfortable - sometimes even awful - for at least a while.

Do the opposite of what your brain tells you (to feel comfortable, to feel certainty, happy, safe).

Fail. Again and again and again.

Suffer for a while, because the reward at the end is worth it.

Be humbled.

Stumble.

Feel nervous.

Insecure.

Quit.

Get back up again.

Rinse, repeat.

You can’t take out the middle part between the start and finish. The shitty part is what always makes it worth it.

There is no guarantee that you will be happy at the end of the struggle. But if it isn’t hard, and it doesn’t feel uncomfortable, it’s probably not challenging you.

Get out there and fail. Laugh at yourself. You’re on your way.
